Stotfold Engineering began in 1967 by my father Terry Ives, who had previously been the top tool maker and design engineer in the government training centre in Letchworth.
We started in the engineering industry by making tooling for the specialised rivet industry, work progressed into the printing and packaging industry in the 70s and 80s. Having accumulated machinery through the years we diversed into the heavy fabrication of crane parts at home and abroad.
Since a lot of the companies have moved abroad we have had to adapt and move with the times, becomming fully versed with all industries.
At present I consider that we are the most versatile machine shop in the UK, willing to undertake anything you need, to your exact requirements.
